EVOLVING STRATEGIES

This week’s opportunity to evolve your strategy

3 ways to run your business efficiently

Your website is a crucial part of a successful business but so are your customers. They are just as important, because without them you have no sales. The focus should be to create your offers, messaging and communications with the consumer in mind. Share from their point of view as people work in self-interest.

Consider the following: How do you get them to buy?

If they work in self-interest than focus the messaging on your site around what value it brings the customer. How it solves their problem with your product as the solution. Start with understanding what their problem is.

Simple solutions can be the most effective, and it doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective. The simplest solutions are always best, it makes it convenient for you and is super helpful for your consumers.

People don’t want to put too much effort or work too hard on something. They want it to be easy because it makes their lives easier. We all live in a society of which easy and convenient is preferred since there’s always so much going on in peoples’ lives.

How to apply this:

What you should takeaway and apply to your digital sales strategy:

  1. Understand the customer problem

  2. Speak to your customers about solutions and site journey

  3. Adjust your strategy as needed

Understand the customer problem

To drive sales you need to have a solution but that comes with understanding the problem. You can’t create a product (the solution) without knowing your customer’s problem.

  • Create an email or website survey

  • Run a focus group

  •  Use social media polls

Gather information on what your customers think, have a problem with and use tools that are available to get the info. Once you understand their problem, you can create the right solution. A simple and effective approach to always stay on top of customer needs.

Remember that customers love to share feedback, it makes them feel valued and helps them feel they are making a difference.

Speak to your customers about solutions and site journey

Get feedback on what’s already been created, there’s always room for improvements. The best people to ask are the people who have to go through your website and buy your products.

99% of the time they’ll tell you it’s to confusing or difficult to navigate. The best approach is always to create a simple journey, an easy to use product that can be explained in 5 minutes or less.
